Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration as a Florida Professional Engineer is required.
  • At least four years of progressive consulting or related professional experience; a Master of Science degree may substitute for one year, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree may substitute for two years.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Responsibilities
  • Design water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant improvements.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and reports consistent with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop solutions to complex engineering challenges using technical judgment and creative problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on the work of Engineer Interns and peers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in the Jones Edmunds Quality Program by performing reviews to ensure deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and clients regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Engage in continuing professional development to stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software.
