About the job
- A valid California Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing is required.
- Entry-level candidates and candidates without prior home health experience are accepted.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance are required.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year under the supervision of a licensed professional is required.

- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, swallowing, and related disorders.
- Diagnose the nature and extent of impairments using a variety of techniques.
- Record and analyze speech, language, and swallowing irregularities.
- Help patients develop or recover reliable communication skills and maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
- Participate in case conferences, in-services, and other meetings to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- One year of Speech-Language Pathology experience is preferred.
- One year of home health experience is preferred.
