Responsibilities
  • Organize and guide the engineering team to meet goals and deadlines effectively, fostering collaboration and productivity
  • Resolve major challenges using extensive experience to consistently improve processes and address operational issues
  • Represent the engineering team in meetings, provide updates to site managers, COEs, and other departments, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Develop, validate, and maintain processes to ensure efficiency, safety, cycle time adherence, and quality standards are met, including packaging processes
  • Train, mentor, and set SMART goals for the team, while evaluating performance and promoting career growth
  • Attend one-on-one weekly team meetings, lead budget and planning sessions, daily production request reviews, pricing KPI discussions, and cross-departmental communications
  • Ensure flawless implementation for new launches, process improvements, and special initiatives within deadlines and budget constraints
  • Ensure on-site oversight with 20% travel to different site locations
  • Define and monitor budget goals, production requirements, and team performance metrics
  • Perform weekly Process/Gemba Walks and safety walks, ensuring zero accidents and proper countermeasures for identified risks
  • Lead teams to achieve target efficiencies, perform LV1, LV2 events and provide proper documentation on key metrics like cycle times, scrap rates, headcounts, etc.
  • Validate and approve packaging designs and specifications, ensuring compliance and effective trials
  • All other duties as assigned

Hunter Douglas launches Pinnacle Program. New program introduces transparent pricing, simplified rewards, and performance-based growth. Hunter Douglas has launched its Pinnacle Dealer Partner Program, a new partnership model designed to simplify dealer engagement, reward performance more transparently, and support long-term business growth. The Pinnacle Program introduces a single, streamlined structure featuring no participation fees, clearly defined volume-based tiers, standardized benefits, and a simplified support framework. Developed in direct response to dealer feedback, the Pinnacle Program simplifies the path to partnership growth by removing ambiguity around fees, tier qualifications, and reward structures. Dealers are automatically placed into one of eight tiers based on prior-year bookings. As they move up through the tiers, they gain access to increasingly competitive pricing, enhanced support, exclusive recognition opportunities, and broader marketing tools, empowering them to scale their businesses with greater ease and clarity. Beyond streamlining the structure, Pinnacle also delivers a more consistent and accessible approach to marketing and dealer support, and a new Dealer Success Allowance consolidates previous support programs into one flexible fund, designed to resolve dealer issues quickly while minimizing administrative burden. Further expanding options. For certain projects or clients, dealers may also find value in exploring Alta Window Fashions, a long-standing brand within the Hunter Douglas portfolio that also falls within the new Pinnacle program. Alta offers a focused assortment of high-quality window treatments with broad appeal, making it a strong fit for budget-conscious jobs or secondary spaces where simplicity and style still matter.
