  • An unrestricted Illinois medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration registration are required before the start date.
  • Board eligibility or board certification in Cardiovascular Disease is required.
  • A clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivering healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients is required.
  • A physician license in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • A controlled-substance license for the state and federal Drug Enforcement Administration registration must be maintained when applicable to the specialty.
  • Successful completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited residency program is required.
  • The candidate must be board certified or board eligible.
  • The candidate must receive a COVID-19 vaccine or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach clinic services.
  • Deliver clinical electrophysiology care and procedures using the available electrophysiology laboratories, mapping systems, cryoablation, pulsed-field ablation, cardiac rhythm management systems, hybrid laboratory, and electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with experts in general, interventional, structural cardiology, and electrophysiology within a team-based care model.
  • Provide healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
