  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and IATF 16949 manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing scale-up and capacity expansion.

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
  • Develop and execute production plans to achieve customer demand while maximizing equipment utilization and labor efficiency.
  • Manage production supervisors, technicians, and operators, providing coaching, performance management, and workforce development.
  • Monitor production key performance indicators, including throughput, yield, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, scrap rate, and labor productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Planning, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production ramp-up activities.
  • Manage production budgets, labor planning, overtime, and resource allocation.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality and production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting and maintain manufacturing documentation.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Peugeot RCZ Vision concept transforms coupe into 1000-volt grand tourer with 600km of range. 3 hours ago Solid-state battery technology, 10-minute charging times and holographic displays are among some of the reasons the RCZ Vision is turning heads in Paris Peugeot has unveiled a modern-day successor to the RCZ at the Paris Motor Show, which transforms the front-driven coupe into a 1000-volt monster with grand touring built in mind. For now, it remains a concept but Peugeot has said it may go into production in the coming years, with the brand already developing key hardware for the concept, such as the 110mm solid-state battery collaboration with the US-based Factorial Energy. That battery is said to offer up to 600km of range and a 10-80 percent charging time of just 10 minutes, making the reborn RCZ Vision a long-legged EV that's quick to get back on the road. On the road, it's said to achieve an efficiency of 11.5 kWh/100km according to the WLTP standard. Both brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire (meaning there is no physical connection between the driver and the turning wheels or brakes), feature on the concept, controlled by the 'Hypersquare' steering wheel, which is joined by a series of transparent Micro LED displays to beam information into the cabin. A power output of 372 kW is cited but it's not clear how many motors or driven wheels are at play, with Peugeot putting far greater emphasis on the Level 2++ hands-free autonomous driving system. The design is clearly striking, with the brand's three-line lion's crawl styling found across the front and rear facia, joined by a double-bubble roof which is said to house up to four occupants.

September 18, 2026 September 17, 2026 Factorial Energy Inc., a global leader in solid-state battery technology, announced a strategic partnership with Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited to support the industrialization of its Solstice(TM) all-solid-state battery platform. Mitsui Kinzoku is a leading producer of sulfide-based solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, one of few companies worldwide with foundational technology in this space, and already the global leader in ultra-thin copper foil, with an estimated 90% share of the semiconductor market for that foil. That materials science expertise underpins its A-SOLiD(TM) sulfide solid electrolyte, unveiled in 2016 and advancing toward mass production at a dedicated plant in Saitama, Japan. Mitsui Kinzoku is a leading producer of sulfide-based solid electrolytes and holds an estimated 90% share of the semiconductor market for ultra-thin copper foil. The company operates a dedicated plant in Saitama, Japan, advancing its A-SOLiD sulfide solid electrolyte towards mass production. Factorial will lead cell design, process development, supply chain qualification, line integration and manufacturing validation. The goal is to accelerate the commercial deployment of solid-state and lithium-metal batteries in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "Last year our automotive cell platform powered a historic 1,200+ kilometre drive on a single charge. This year it's the sky," said Siyu Huang, CEO of Factorial. Tulip Tech, based in Den Bosch in the Noord-Brabant province in the Netherlands, develops high-density battery systems for drones and supplies more than 250 customers across the defence, security and commercial sectors. The company says it manufactures more than 100,000 battery packs per month and specialises in customised battery systems designed for specific mission requirements. According to the official statement, the partners see growing demand for longer-range UAVs in commercial, industrial and defence applications, where higher energy density can extend flight times, increase payload capacity and improve mission flexibility. They cite energy storage as one of the main constraints on further advances in unmanned aviation. Factorial says its solid-state and lithium-metal battery platforms offer higher energy density while reducing weight, making them suitable for applications ranging from road vehicles to aircraft and space systems.
