Primary Health Solutions celebrates healthcare milestones in Lindenwald and Oxford. Primary Health Solutions recently marked two significant milestones in its continued effort to expand access to affordable, comprehensive healthcare throughout Southwest Ohio - celebrating the expansion of its Oxford Health Center, including Ohio's first telepharmacy and expanded dental services as well as breaking ground on a new 30,000-square-foot health center in Hamilton's Lindenwald neighborhood. While the projects serve different communities and address different access challenges, they reflect the same commitment: bringing more healthcare services closer to where people live, work and raise their families. From addressing transportation barriers and healthcare disparities in Lindenwald to expanding access to pharmacy and dental care in Oxford, PHS is investing in innovative, integrated solutions designed to make healthcare more accessible, convenient and connected. The milestones, celebrated during National Health Center Week, highlight PHS's continued growth and its focus on Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most. Together, the projects represent a significant investment in the health of local communities and demonstrate how PHS is working to remove barriers to care while creating new opportunities for patients, families and communities across Southwest Ohio. Building innovative care where it matters most means listening to its communities, removing barriers and creating new ways for people to access the care they need. Expanding care in Oxford. In Oxford, PHS is expanding the services available at its existing health center to make comprehensive care even more accessible to patients and families. The expansion includes Ohio's first telepharmacy, an innovative model that connects patients with licensed pharmacists through secure video consultations while prescriptions are filled and dispensed locally. By combining technology with personalized care, the telepharmacy expands access to pharmacy services and pharmacist expertise while maintaining the convenience of local prescription services. The model demonstrates how PHS is using innovation to connect patients with care and respond to the evolving needs of the communities it serves. PHS has also expanded dental services in Oxford, addressing a significant gap in access to oral healthcare for Medicaid patients. PHS is the only dental provider in the Oxford area accepting Medicaid, making the expansion especially meaningful for children, families and individuals who may otherwise face limited options for affordable dental care. Together with primary care and behavioral health services already available at the Oxford Health Center, the expanded dental and pharmacy services give patients greater access to the care they need in one convenient location - creating a more connected, patient-centered healthcare experience. Building a healthier future in Lindenwald. The new Lindenwald Health Center represents a transformative investment in one of Hamilton's highest-need neighborhoods. The 30,000-square-foot facility will bring primary care, behavioral health, dental services, Express Care and pharmacy services together under one roof, making it easier for patients to access coordinated, comprehensive care close to home. The project is designed to address significant healthcare and transportation barriers in the Lindenwald community, where nearly 47% of residents live below 200% of the federal poverty level and access to healthcare providers remains limited. By bringing multiple services to the neighborhood, the health center will help reduce barriers that can make receiving care more difficult for local families. Once completed, the health center is expected to serve more than 3,000 new patients annually and provide nearly 20,000 patient encounters each year. The project will also create 50 full-time jobs, representing an estimated $4.2 million annual investment in payroll and benefits and further strengthening the local community. "These milestones represent our commitment to finding new and innovative ways to make healthcare more accessible," said Stephen Roller, President & CEO of Primary Health Solutions. "Whether we're building a new health center in Lindenwald to address transportation and access barriers or expanding services in Oxford to bring telepharmacy and dental care closer to the community, we're focused on meeting patients where they are and ensuring they have access to the care they need." Together, the Lindenwald Health Center and Oxford Health Center expansion reflect Primary Health Solutions' continued commitment to investing in the communities it serves and finding new ways to make healthcare more accessible. From a new neighborhood health center designed to address transportation and access barriers to innovative services that expand pharmacy and dental care, PHS is creating more opportunities for individuals and families to receive comprehensive care closer to home. As Primary Health Solutions continues to grow throughout Southwest Ohio, these investments demonstrate the organization's ongoing commitment to integrated care, innovation and community partnerships that help make healthcare easier to access for everyone.
