What believers are saying

  • PharmaChoice Canada reported 24 consecutive years of annual co-op revenue growth.
  • PharmaCorp Rx expanded to 17 bannered pharmacies by October 1, 2026.
  • Official site still highlights over $2 billion annual sales and national buying power.

What critics are saying

  • PharmaCorp Rx bought multiple PharmaChoice-bannered pharmacies in 2026, shrinking the network.
  • Banner conversion economics favor corporate acquirers over member-owned independents by 2027.
  • If ownership exits accelerate, the co-op loses scale, margins, and relevance.

What makes PharmaChoice Canada unique

  • Independent owners keep local autonomy while gaining chain-scale purchasing power.
  • PharmaChoice banners over 800 consumer locations across Canada.
