Responsibilities
Provide security guard services at a respite center.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, responding to routine calls and security and law enforcement calls.
Maintain a highly visible presence on and around client sites and react appropriately to multiple scenarios.
Act as an agent of the client site by creating a presence that builds a safe and welcoming environment for service users, employees, and visitors.
Inform designated authorities in the event of security, fire, or health emergencies.
Record and maintain a logbook of daily activities, unusual or special occurrences, and equipment issuance to staff.
Perform emergency response duties in accordance with the Emergency Response Manual.
Desired Qualifications
A minimum of two years of hospitality and customer service experience is preferred.
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification are preferred.
Use-of-force certification is preferred.
Law enforcement education is considered an asset.

Compensation
