Introducing Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence: compliance without the complexity. July 17, 2026 Compliance in IT is no longer a periodic checkbox, it's a continuous discipline. Whether your organization navigates DORA in Europe, NYDFS and FFIEC in the U.S. or APRA in Australia, regulators now expect ongoing proof of lifecycle governance, risk reduction and audit readiness. Not only that, but thorough internal compliance initiatives are vital to building reliable responses to external pressure. Yet only 36% of IT leaders report having complete visibility into their technology estate (Flexera 2026 State of ITAM). Most organizations still rely on manual processes to close that gap; evidence lives in spreadsheets and dashboards are built from scratch in Power BI. Compliance status is point-in-time at best. The result is fragmented reporting that increases risk, slows audit responses and makes it nearly impossible to demonstrate progress the way regulators expect. Today Flexera is changing that with Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence, a new add-on module for Flexera One IT Visibility that turns trusted IT intelligence from Technopedia into measurable compliance outcomes. It enables regulated organizations and internal compliance teams to track progress, prove alignment and reduce risk from a single platform. Why Flexera built it. The idea didn't start in a product lab, it started with customers. Flexera conducted in-depth interviews with mid-to-large financial services and regulated enterprises including institutions across the U.S., EMEA, Australia and Canada. The feedback was consistent and clear. Customers told Flexera that dashboards alone aren't enough because many already build dashboards using their own APIs and tools. They wanted standards mapped to controls with continuous automated checks rather than point-in-time snapshots. They expected actionability through remediation planning and workflow integrations. And they wanted a solution that complements their existing GRC investments rather than replacing them. Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence was built to answer all of that. What makes Compliance Standards Intelligence different. Traditional IT Visibility starts with your inventory and works outward: telemetry, data, dashboards. Compliance Standards Intelligence flips that model. It starts from regulatory intent and works inward, asking "What do regulators expect? What internal standards do I need to meet?" before asking "What does my estate look like?" Control-to-check mapping is the core differentiator. Each regulatory control is mapped to automated checks that run against your inventory. For example, a control that states "Unsupported software must be remediated" is tied to a check that detects end-of-life and end-of-support versions across your environment. This moves your organization from passive reporting to evidence-based validation. Built-in tolerance and policy logic lets you define what "compliant" means for your organization. Set tolerance levels and custom policies so you can answer "Is this compliant?" rather than settling for "Is this risky?" Traceable evidence generation produces a clear chain from control to check to result over time, backed by time-series data and policy evaluation. This bridges the gap between inventory visibility and audit-ready proof. What you get delivered. Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence delivers a unified compliance experience powered by Technopedia, the industry's most comprehensive technology intelligence dataset. Here's what that means in practice. One unified view: manage frameworks like DORA, NYDFS, APRA and FFIEC from a single compliance space. See current conformity scores, lifecycle status distribution and trend data so you know exactly where you stand and where exposure is building. Continuous tracking: monitor risk reduction and lifecycle progress over time with both internal and external compliance as a system of record. Surface current posture alongside a three-year forecast and one-year historical view so you can demonstrate progress to regulators, infrastructure managers and service owners. Auditor-ready evidence: drill down from high-level conformity views to asset-level detail with built-in tracking for exceptions, ownership and decision-making. Explain your progress with authority when auditors come calling. Remediation planning: go beyond insight to action with year-over-year remediation plans for end-of-life and end-of-support assets, including three-year projections based on your remediation plan. From any host, teams can create tickets, prioritize remediation efforts and trigger automation workflows with full auditability and traceability. Built on a trusted data foundation. What separates Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence from competitors that rely on outdated CMDB data or require extensive customization is the data underneath it. Flexera delivers normalized, enriched inventory with lifecycle, vulnerability and dependency context powered by Technopedia, the world's largest and most reliable technology data-catalog. That means the compliance checks running against your environment are grounded in accurate, continuously updated intelligence rather than stale snapshots from disconnected tools. The result is compliance that is built in, not bolted on. Proven Flexera impact across regulated organizations: | Metric | Impact | | Avg. reduction in time spent researching and validating data | 60% | | Reduction in effort managing external audits | 80% | | Reduction in technical debt for compliance reporting | 30% | Who Compliance Standards Intelligence is for. Compliance Standards Intelligence is designed for financial services organizations and other heavily regulated industries that need to demonstrate alignment to standards like DORA, NYDFS, FFIEC and APRA. It serves compliance officers, infrastructure managers, service owners and IT leaders who need a single, executive-ready view of their IT compliance posture without building it from scratch. It complements your existing GRC tools by surfacing the signals and evidence they need. Flexera is not replacing your GRC. It's feeding it with trusted, validated intelligence. What's ahead. This initial release focuses on automated checks for financial regulatory standards with lifecycle, cloud and vulnerability-related controls. Looking ahead, the upcoming 2026 roadmap includes AI-powered forecasting for end-of-life and end-of-support exposure, prioritized actionable insights, notification and workflow automation through intelligent automation and expanded coverage across ITAM and SaaS metrics. Get started. Flexera One Compliance Standards Intelligence is available now in early access for Flexera One IT Visibility. If your organization is ready to move from reactive audit preparation to continuous risk compliance governance, contact Flexera to learn more.

Empowering users with intuitive, actionable data: introducing Data Explorer. On this page. Flexera today launched Data Explorer, a groundbreaking AI-native capability built on the Technology Intelligence (TI) Platform for Flexera One. Designed to accelerate decision-making, Data Explorer gives users natural-language access to Technology Intelligence Inventory data, returning relevant tabular reports and insights directly within Flexera One. Imagine asking, "Get me the list of devices running out-of-support Oracle software." In seconds, Data Explorer delivers a clean table with the right columns, providing a concise summary to help teams move from question to action faster than ever. Why Data Explorer? Today, practitioners often navigate multiple screens, reconcile conflicting views, or build custom BI reports just to answer routine questions. This complexity slows decisions, introduces handoffs, and erodes confidence in "the right answer." As data grows, so does the burden. Data Explorer closes these gaps by providing one conversational entry point to query inventory data and receive personalized, authoritative answers, reducing cognitive load, eliminating conflicting choices, and dramatically shortening time to value. Building on GraphQL Query Generator, available in Flexera One IT Visibility, Data Explorer takes natural language processing and data accessibility even further. Data Explorer reflects a simple belief: its customers should be able to ask questions in plain language and trust the answers they get back. By making Technology Intelligence data intuitive and actionable, Flexera Software is helping teams move faster, reduce complexity, and make critical business decisions with confidence. Frances Zhao-Perez Vice President, Data Products, Flexera What do you get with Data Explorer? Natural language data queries. * Request inventory data in plain language, making report generation accessible to non-technical users. Customizable and exportable reports. * Reports are highly customizable, built-in UI tabular views: add or remove columns as needed using an intuitive interface. * Reports can be exported as CSV files for further analysis or sharing. Role-based access and collaboration. * The "Manage Data Explorer Reports" role grants you the ability to create, edit, duplicate, and delete any data explorer report within the organization. * Access any data explorer report, manage your own, and duplicate Flexera-provided templates for faster setup. Template reports for quick start. * Pre-built template reports (focused on devices and software) are available and can be duplicated and customized, reducing setup time for common use cases. * Flexera encourages customer feedback to improve and expand template offerings, so please let Flexera Software know your thoughts! Comprehensive native report management. * Save, organize, and manage custom reports, including editing details, saving versions, and deleting obsolete reports. * The platform supports both personal and organization-wide report management, enhancing collaboration and governance. Transparency and technical insight. * View the GraphQL query behind each report, providing transparency and enabling advanced users to understand or replicate the data extraction logic. Key benefits. * Faster, higher-confidence decisions Ask in plain English ("Show devices nearing end of support this quarter") and get exactly what you need - initially in table format - so teams act quickly. * One trusted source for everyone Create a view with a simple prompt ("List non-compliant software by business unit"), save it and share securely. Everyone sees the same version, reducing debate and keeping focus on decisions. * Scales as data grows without complexity As new datasets arrive, keep using natural language ("Show me servers with different patch levels running the same OS version"). The same interface makes them instantly explorable, expanding use cases while staying simple. Looking ahead. Data Explorer previews a broader AI-native direction for the Technology Intelligence Platform in Flexera One, where users describe outcomes in plain language and Flexera delivers exactly what they need across views, roles, and workflows. These capabilities will extend beyond inventory reporting to power consistent, intuitive experiences across Flexera One. Want to learn more?
