Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related subject
  • 1+ years of relevant financial analysis and/or transactional accounting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SAP, Coupa, SQL or GBQ preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • A proactive, detail oriented team player
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong planning and forward-thinking capabilities
  • Proficiency in Google Enterprise Suite tools (calendar, mail drive, docs, sheets, slides, meet)
  • Extremely high level of discretion pertaining to confidential information
Responsibilities
  • Ensure suppliers/vendors are paid accurately within agreed payment terms
  • Educate and guide suppliers from a finance lens throughout their partnership with Wayfair
  • Respond to finance-related questions, concerns, and disputes
  • Address all ticket inquiries in a timely manner
  • Complete the reconciliation process for outgoing payments
  • Support Accounting with month- and quarter-end close tasks
  • Partner & collaborate with all stakeholders impacted by the services
  • Review and validate Vendor Setup requests
  • Perform validation checks on Purchase Orders
  • Enter and Upload Invoices into the system
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalations for suppliers and internal Wayfair business partners
  • Provide analyses of suppliers' financial standing and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the launch of New Business Initiatives and drive them to a scalable state
  • Challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains
  • Document processes and assist in function development
