Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, higher secondary education, and/or commensurate work experience is required.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience should include oil and gas facility maintenance, lease operations with maintenance responsibilities, and/or the control, design, and operation of oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment across oil and gas production facilities, including wells, batteries, and plants.
  • Perform complex corrective maintenance involving tank valves, seat and trim components, dump controllers, Kimray valves, water-transfer equipment, pumping-unit stuffing boxes, sump pots, and ball valves.
  • Complete work according to schedules established by the Maintenance Planner.
  • Repair or replace well-site equipment while maintaining environmental compliance and proper well-site control of pneumatic equipment.
  • Coordinate closely with Maintenance Planners, Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and the Environmental Health and Safety Department.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures that support safe and efficient operations.
  • Work with the Maintenance Planner to improve cycle times, identify necessary pre-job planning steps, and ensure timely work-order closure.
  • Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems before failures occur.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with established procedures, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Lead job planning, cost tracking, and reporting of maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure work orders are completed promptly and safely, with accurate closure and verification.
  • Maintain company equipment, including computers, vehicles, and analysis or testing equipment.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with landowners and local, state, and federal representatives.
  • Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
  • Serve as a field-wide point of contact during emergencies or significant operational events.
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the maintenance team.
  • Train and support less-experienced Maintenance Operators.
  • Coordinate vendors as required to support maintenance activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • E&P operations experience is preferred.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional certification is preferred.
