Requirements

Understand the requirements of the Record to Report general ledger function in an insurance business.
Perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Prepare process documentation.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Have knowledge of United States or United Kingdom insurance processes.
Have knowledge of monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close.
Have subject matter expertise in foreign exchange, debt, and cash management activities.
Have knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or treasury functions.
Have experience with the Clearwater tool.
Have extensive knowledge of financial calculations.
Be a graduate with at least two years of formal education in any stream and relevant experience in the technical areas listed in the job description; B.Com, M.Com, or MBA are specified.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement non-complex programs, and/or maintain program logic for customized processes within established time frames.

Desired Qualifications

Certification is an added advantage.

Essential Functions

Understand the requirement of RTR GL function in an Insurance Business
Variance analysis, reconciliations, and Month end close activities
Preparation of Process Documentation
Proficient in MS Office
Knowledge of US/UK insurance process

Must be a graduate with at least 2 years of formal education in any stream with relevant experience in the technical areas listed on this JD. (B.Com or M.Com or MBA)

Primary Internal Interactions

Knowledge of monthly, quarterly and annual GL close
- Subject Matter Expert in FX, Debts and Cash management activities
  - Able to prioritize multiple activities
  - Good analytical skills and competent at logical reasoning
  - Data gathering ability / eye for detail
Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, Powerpoint
Knowledge of AP/AR/Treasury Function
Develop and implement non-complex programs and/or maintain program logic for customized processes within established time-frames
