- At least 5 years of marine technician experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.

- Diagnose and repair outboard engines, inboard systems, and marine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and major mechanical repairs.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and sea trials to ensure quality workmanship.
- Complete engine installations, repowers, and original equipment manufacturer rigging.
- Install controls, steering systems, electronics, trolling motors, and marine accessories.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and performance upgrades to manufacturer standards.
- Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and labor operations.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify additional repair or maintenance opportunities that improve customer satisfaction.
- Dealership experience is preferred.
- Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, or MerCruiser certifications are strongly preferred.
- Graduation from the Marine Mechanics Institute is encouraged.
