Requirements
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, email, and internet software applications.
One year of quality assurance experience in the food or produce industry in one of the following fields: produce, ready-to-eat (RTE), red meat, seafood, poultry, pork, or lamb.
Responsibilities
Ensure continuous improvement and adequacy of quality and food safety systems to support end-to-end compliance with regulatory, business, and customer expectations, including product complaints, recalls, and the quality management system.
Understand food safety processes and programs to ensure regulatory compliance, including the company's food safety plans, preventive control plans, and produce Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans.
Prepare chemicals and perform titration verifications.
Understand and perform HACCP, good manufacturing practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOP), sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP), and environmental monitoring (EM) duties as necessary to meet government and company regulations.
Support programs and processes to ensure compliance with government regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of inventory management systems and reporting software applications.
Knowledge of food HACCP, preventive controls qualified individual (PCQI), and food defense.

We are currently seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join our team, based in our Bowling Green, OH location.
Responsible for following and conducting robust Food Safety & Quality systems and programs; audits and checks, the FSQA Technician will report to the FSQA Manager and work with them as a team to ensure NuProduce Solutions is meeting or exceeding internal standards, customer’s expectation and government compliance requirements.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am to done. W/rotating Saturdays (Days and hours are subject to change; may include weekends) Salary: Depending on experience
Essential Functions:
Ensure continuous improvement and adequacy of quality and food safety systems to support end to end compliance meeting regulatory, business, and customer expectations (e.g., product complaint, recall, quality management system).
Understand processes and programs for Food Safety to ensure regulatory compliance, including those utilized by NuProduce Solutions (e.g., Food Safety plans, Preventive Control plans, Produce HACCP plans).
Chemical preparation & titration verifications.
Understand and perform HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP, EM duties as necessary to meet government and company regulations.
Supports programs and processes to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
