Kastle expands executive team to accelerate growth in managed physical security.

Kastle expands executive team to accelerate growth in managed physical security. July 13, 2026 Kastle has appointed five senior executives in the largest leadership expansion in its history, strengthening its executive team as the company seeks to expand its position in the managed physical security market and scale its cloud-based platform for enterprise customers and commercial real estate owners. The appointments follow several years of profitable growth and the company's 2024 acquisition of i2G Systems, adding leadership across operations, sales, technology, marketing and go-to-market strategy. Kastle, which says its platform protects more than 1 billion square feet of U.S. commercial real estate, is positioning itself to capitalize on increasing demand for integrated security systems that combine access control, surveillance, identity management and real-time intelligence. Chief Executive Officer Haniel Lynn said organizations increasingly view physical security as a business investment rather than a compliance function, particularly as companies compete to attract tenants and employees back to office buildings. The expansion comes as commercial property owners continue investing in workplace amenities and building technologies to differentiate Class A office properties. Kastle said its Back to Work Barometer continues to show stronger office utilization at premium buildings than across the broader office market, reinforcing the importance of workplace experience, safety and security in tenant retention strategies. The newly assembled leadership team is expected to support three strategic priorities: advancing the company's security platform, expanding managed services and accelerating enterprise growth. Matt Burke joins as chief operating officer after serving as a senior vice president at Johnson Controls, where he led a $5 billion business with approximately 14,000 employees. At Kastle, he will oversee operational execution, including pricing strategy, contract management and service delivery as the company scales its managed security platform. Neil Thomas, appointed chief revenue officer, brings experience from Motorola Solutions, where he served as a global enterprise corporate vice president. He will lead Kastle's sales strategy with a focus on expanding relationships with Fortune 500 customers, entering additional industry verticals and supporting long-term revenue growth. As chief information officer, Chad Pierce will oversee the company's internal technology strategy, including enterprise systems, data infrastructure, technology integrations and information security. Pierce previously served as chief information officer at WeWork, where he led enterprise technology transformation initiatives. Kastle also named Lindsay McLain as chief marketing officer. McLain previously held marketing leadership positions at Avigilon and Openpath and will focus on strengthening Kastle's market positioning and expanding awareness of its managed security platform and workplace intelligence capabilities. Completing the executive appointments, Steven Weingarth becomes vice president of go-to-market. A former marketing leader at Motorola Solutions and Openpath, Weingarth will oversee the company's marketing technology infrastructure, demand generation programs and digital growth strategy to support customer acquisition and sales execution. The expanded leadership team also includes Jason Slocum, president and CEO of i2G Systems, whose business joined Kastle through the 2024 acquisition. Slocum was recently recognized as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year(R) 2026 award winner for Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Founded in 1972, Kastle provides managed physical security services for more than 3,600 properties and 60,000 businesses across the United States and Australia. Its cloud-based platform integrates access control, video surveillance, visitor management, identity management and threat intelligence into a unified managed service designed for enterprise customers. The executive appointments reflect broader shifts in the physical security market, where commercial property owners and large organizations are increasingly replacing standalone security products with integrated platforms that connect physical security, IT infrastructure and workplace operations. As enterprises modernize office portfolios and prioritize building intelligence, providers capable of delivering managed, data-driven security services are competing for a larger share of technology spending across the commercial real estate sector.

Kastle becomes first to deliver Aliro mobile credentials across Apple, Google and Samsung

Kastle, a managed physical security services provider, has become the first company to deploy Aliro 1.0 credentials across Apple, Google and Samsung mobile wallets, eliminating platform compatibility barriers for building access. The rollout enables anyone to use their smartphone as a universal building key, regardless of access platform. The Aliro standard, introduced by the Connectivity Standards Alliance and launched in February 2026, is the first interoperable, non-proprietary secure standard for mobile credentials. Kastle's implementation includes Aliro-enabled readers, cloud-based credential management and wallet-based mobile credentials that work with any reader or manufacturer, removing vendor lock-in. The Falls Church, Virginia-based company, which has provided security solutions since 1972, currently protects over 3,600 properties and 41,000 businesses across the United States and Australia.

When Economic Data Quality Deteriorates: Two Thoughts For Investors

The news only adds to ongoing concerns about the quality of government data, which relies on extensive surveys and analysis of those surveys."These errors have consequences," UBS’s Paul Donovan wrote on Friday. "Less understanding of U.S. inflation increases the chances of the Federal Reserve making a policy error (especially with the mantra of ‘data dependency’)."Economists say the staffing shortage raises questions about the quality of recent and coming inflation reports. There is no sign of an intentional effort to publish false or misleading statistics. But any problems with the data could have major implications for the economy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the office that publishes the inflation rate, told outside economists this week that a hiring freeze at the agency was forcing the survey to cut back on the number of businesses where it checks prices. In last month’s inflation report, which examined prices in April, government statisticians had to use a less precise method for guessing price changes more extensively than they did in the past.In April 2025, the CPS began to phase in a redesigned sample that is based on information from the 2020 Census

Why You Can’T Keep The Us Economy And Stock Market Down For Very Long

After graduating from college in 2004 and after months of searching, I randomly got a job as a contract paralegal where I got my first serious introduction to equity research. I quickly became hooked on learning about what made the stock market move. In 2006 , I got a job at Forbes Newsletters researching and writing up stock picks. I also enrolled in the CFA program that year, which helped me develop a sophisticated understanding of things like mortgage backed securities, collateralized debt obligations, derivatives, and value-at-risk models. The economy looked great when I entered college in 2000. It wasn't as great when I graduated in 2004. (Source: FRED )And for my college friends and I, it soon became clear that we would all be entering a tighter job market with an elevated unemployment rate
