Requirements
  • Provide subject care and data collection procedures in adherence to assigned study protocols and good clinical research principles.
  • Review subject charts, database records, and other sources to screen and identify potential study subjects according to protocol criteria.
  • Coordinate clinical trials, including sponsor and authority communication, visit coordination, sampling, time management, and product accountability.
  • Collect and manage data, develop source documents, use case report forms, manage patient registration and adverse events, file and archive records, manage monitoring visits, and resolve queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of study drug receipt, inventory, and dispensation, and coordinate collection of blood samples, cultures, tissues, and other specimens.
  • Perform patient visits, data collection and transcription/electronic data capture, monitor-visit preparation, and protocol-required measurements including height, weight, blood pressure, respirations, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
  • Schedule appointments and organize study-visit materials, ensuring required tests are completed according to protocol.
  • Complete study start-up requirements, disseminate updated Investigator’s Brochures, protocols, and informed-consent information, complete sponsor-initiated online training, and review study correspondence.
  • Complete and upload source documentation to CRIO and maintain patient charts.
  • Obtain medical-assessment information from patients or charts, including medication name, start and stop dates, dose, and indication.
  • Collect, process, package, and ship serum and tissue samples according to study-specific requirements.
  • Enter and manage paper and electronic case report forms, including resolving data queries.
  • Manage investigational product supplies, accountability, temperature controls, destruction, and return.
  • Develop or maintain essential study documents, logs, patient questionnaires, pill diaries, lab requisition forms, and other study-specific forms.
  • Maintain study supplies through inventory, stocking, organization, and resupply orders in the Envi system.
  • Coordinate study activities including rooming patients, administering questionnaires, scheduling scans, preparing rooms, and cleaning equipment after procedures and visits.
  • Obtain and maintain required training in Good Clinical Practice, International Air Transport Association procedures, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, the Solaris Health Code of Conduct, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and report suspected concerns or violations.
  • Complete annual compliance training.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold basic life support certification.
  • Hold licenses and certifications required by the state.
  • Minimal travel is required.
  • Carry, push, pull, and lift items within the stated physical-demand limits.
Responsibilities
  • Administer clinical trials and collect clinical research data.
  • Inform participants about study objectives and administer questionnaires.
  • Occasionally assist study coordinators at other offices, including the surgery center.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as biology, psychology, nursing, or healthcare.
  • Advanced cardiac life support certification.
  • Experience with EPIC software.
  • One to three years of related experience.
