Requirements
  • A university degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business-to-business marketing, preferably in professional services, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global marketing and communications strategies for a Commercial Unit in collaboration with Commercial Unit and Operations leaders.
  • Determine marketing needs, obtain leadership agreement and buy-in, and establish key performance indicators for evaluating strategy success.
  • Incorporate relevant cross-market services into sector marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national marketers so global campaigns address local market needs and can be leveraged efficiently.
  • Brief and leverage the expertise and points of view of Marketing and Communications Centres of Expertise in tactical campaign plans.
  • Provide subject-matter-expertise connections, campaign briefings, and project oversight for Centres of Expertise campaigns.
  • Evaluate campaign success through post-mortem reviews and monthly key performance indicator analysis, then adapt and optimize strategies.
  • Develop marketing strategies within designated budgets and manage their execution within those budgets.
  • Develop detailed metrics dashboards using available analytics tools for multiple-stakeholder communications.
  • Communicate campaign analytics findings, test results, and implementation decisions to CSA Group leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with Commercial, Operations, technical, regional, national, and marketing leaders to understand business objectives, capabilities, competition, customer issues, local goals, and growth targets.
  • Devise impactful marketing and communications campaigns with Centres of Expertise and educate them about Commercial Unit objectives through complete briefs.
  • Hire, manage, train, and provide clear performance expectations and objectives to direct and indirect reports.
  • Establish career development plans and foster a continuous learning culture.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on campaign success and other required reporting.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and coach and mentor staff.
  • Recognize employee success through the corporate recognition program.
  • Support Marketing and Communications leadership in developing a more collaborative and cohesive team.
  • Travel in North America less than 10% as required to attend meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of people management experience is an asset.
  • Experience in professional services marketing is preferred.

TORONTO – CSA Group has announced the opening of an accredited, special-purpose laboratory dedicated to testing and certifying the safety of medical-grade PPE. Until now, there have been no domestic providers of testing and certification services for medical-grade PPE.
