About the Team
The Partnerships team builds and scales OpenSesame's global partner ecosystem. We work across technology, channel, referral, reseller, marketplace, and strategic alliances to expand reach of our joint solutions and deliver exceptional experiences for our partners and their customers.
The Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) is the relationship owner responsible for driving revenue growth, partner activation, and strategic alignment with assigned partners. SPMs operate within a system designed for partner success—they maintain consistent cadences, deliver quick wins, build trust, and drive pipeline behavior. Through partner planning, enablement, and execution, SPMs translate company strategy into partner-led revenue.
About the Role
OpenSesame is seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-focused Strategic Partner Manager to own a portfolio of strategic partners, drive sourced and influenced revenue, and deliver consistent partner value.
As an SPM, you will manage a book of partner relationships, each with its own business model, sales structure, and growth opportunity. You'll partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to activate partners, create joint go-to-market motions, and drive pipeline. This is a blend of relationship management, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution—combining partner business planning with day-to-day touchpoints that keep partners engaged and accountable.
What You'll Do
Know & Own Your Partner Portfolio
You are the primary expert and relationship owner on/for your assigned partners. You segment and prioritize partners based on strategic potential, current performance, partner health, and market opportunity and identify when a partnership should be accelerated, remediated, restructured, or deprioritized. You maintain consistent touchpoints (weekly/bi-weekly), drive quarterly business reviews (QBRs), align on joint strategies, and keep partners accountable to their OpenSesame revenue targets. You build trust through reliability and genuine enthusiasm for partner success.
Drive Pipeline & Revenue
You own sourced and influenced pipeline and booking targets for your partner portfolio. You work with partners to identify co-sell opportunities, activate referral channels, and expand OEM relationships. You maintain pipeline visibility, align with Sales on shared opportunities, and work with partners to move deals forward.
Plan & Execute Partner Growth
You identify opportunities to expand the scope and value of your partnerships by understanding each partner’s strategy, customer base, sales motion, product roadmap, and economics. You evaluate new routes to market, commercial models, integrations, and joint offerings, then align stakeholders and drive the highest-potential opportunities from idea through execution. You develop partner business plans that outline quarterly targets, go-to-market motions, campaign priorities, and success metrics. You coordinate with Partner Marketing to execute co-marketing campaigns, sales plays, and enablement activities. You use planning frameworks and tools (Euler, Crossbeam, Salesforce, Gong) to drive accountability and measure progress.
Enable & Activate Partners
You ensure partners have the content, messaging, demos, training, and certifications they need to effectively sell and support OpenSesame. You equip partners to understand OpenSesame’s value proposition, confidently position our solutions, and generate pipeline in alignment with OpenSesame sales teams and GTM priorities. Using Highspot and other enablement tools, you coordinate partner onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement while reinforcing best practices that improve partner effectiveness, sales alignment, and operational efficiency.
Be a Strategic Partner Internally
You represent your partners internally. You escalate integration requests, coordinate with Product and Support for critical issues, align Sales on shared accounts, and surface insights that help OpenSesame serve partners better. You maintain visibility into partner technical contacts and ensure proper escalation paths during critical issues.

OpenSesame expands ai-powered curation to help L&D teams turn complex learning needs into action faster. By GlobeNewswire September 15, 2026 AI-powered capabilities address organizational learning requirements in today's dynamic workforce AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - OpenSesame, the leader in curated enterprise elearning and workforce development solutions, today announced multi-topic capability for its AI-powered Curation Assistant, cutting a typical five-topic catalog search time from more than an hour to just minutes. Now, learning leaders can refine individual topic groups conversationally, filter recommendations by language, duration, audience or proficiency level and add or remove courses without starting over, making it faster to curate training across multiple skills and requirements in one conversation. Learning leaders are increasingly tasked with turning complex business priorities into learning that builds the right workforce capabilities, but those needs rarely fit neatly into a single topic. Developing first-time managers, for example, typically requires leadership, communication, and performance management training, potentially for different experience levels or languages. Instead of searching for and organizing each need separately, learning leaders can bring the full request to Curation Assistant at once, making it easier to navigate OpenSesame's global catalog of more than 68,000 courses and surface relevant content based on their specific needs. The new capability was shaped by the way customers were already using OpenSesame's Curation Assistant. Approximately 30% of Curation Assistant chats referenced more than one topic, signaling that teams were bringing more complex learning needs to a tool previously designed around individual subjects. "Business needs don't arrive one skill at a time, and the technology learning leaders rely on shouldn't force them to work that way," said Josh Blank, president and chief product officer at OpenSesame. "The real opportunity for AI is to take on the repetitive work that slows people down while keeping human expertise and judgment at the center. By making it easier to find and organize content across a more complex set of needs, we're giving leaders more time to focus on the decisions that ultimately build workforce capability and drive business impact." The latest evolution of Curation Assistant reflects OpenSesame's broader approach to applying AI where it can reduce friction for learning leaders and help them get even more value from the breadth of its global learning catalog. Built directly into the OpenSesame Marketplace, Curation Assistant recommends content from OpenSesame's catalog based on the needs and criteria provided, helping L&D teams handle increasingly sophisticated curation needs independently. For initiatives requiring deeper strategic or instructional expertise, customers can continue to draw on OpenSesame's human curation specialists. Multi-topic support for Curation Assistant is available globally to OpenSesame Marketplace customers. To learn more about OpenSesame and request a demo, visit www.opensesame.com. OpenSesame expands trusted learning content in AI strategy, workplace safety and human skills. AUSTIN, Texas - Aug. 18, 2026 - OpenSesame, the leader in curated enterprise e-learning and workforce development solutions, today announced enhancements to equip organizations for the era of AI-driven change. The company signed partnerships with MIT Sloan Management Review and Second City Works, expanding access to globally recognized training that enables organizations to build future-ready workforces. As AI continues to reshape jobs, workflows and business operations, organizations are rethinking how they develop talent. The new partnerships underscore OpenSesame's continued evolution from a learning content marketplace to an AI-powered learning platform, as learning leaders increasingly need trusted content that can be tailored for every employee while keeping pace with rapidly changing business priorities. In response to this growing demand, OpenSesame has sharpened its strategic focus on equipping organizations with the tools and content needed to thrive in an AI-driven world and is redefining what personalized learning looks like at scale. It has grown its learning library to more than 68,000 courses, including over 2,000 AI-related courses added in the past year alone. Its market-leading innovations set a new bar for how organizations build skills: more than 20% of the courses can be customized by customers, human- and AI-curated course lists adapt to individual needs, and AI-powered coaching lets workers practice new skills in real time. "AI is changing work faster than organizations can rewrite job descriptions," said Don Spear, CEO of OpenSesame. "We're seeing growing demand for learning that helps employees navigate technological change, strengthen leadership capabilities and build the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving AI-driven workplace. Each worker is on a unique learning journey, and our role is to help them develop those skills through trusted expert content that is curated and tailored for their individual journey." Through these partnerships, OpenSesame is deepening its learning library in key areas as workforce needs change: * AI leadership and strategy: As AI reshapes business strategy and leadership expectations, OpenSesame has added 65 courses from MIT Sloan Management Review covering leadership, business strategy, workplace culture and technology, with topics ranging from AI and digital transformation to future leadership. Drawing on research and insights from leading scholars and management thinkers, the content provides practical frameworks to help leaders and employees understand how technology is reshaping work and how organizations can adapt successfully. * Human skills and collaboration: As AI transforms how work gets done, many organizations are also increasing investment in the human skills that remain essential for effective teams and strong workplace cultures. OpenSesame added 150 courses from Second City Works, the professional development arm of the renowned Second City comedy theater. Covering topics such as ethics, compliance and workplace effectiveness, the short-form content uses humor and storytelling to increase engagement and knowledge retention while helping employees strengthen communication, collaboration and decision-making skills. In addition, OpenSesame continues to extend its leadership in workplace safety and compliance training. Through a new partnership with OSHA 10 Construction by Vector Solutions, OpenSesame is expanding access to industry-recognized safety training designed to help employers reduce risk, support workforce readiness and maintain compliance in evolving work environments. Together, these additions reflect how organizational learning priorities are evolving. As jobs, skills and business needs continue to change, employers are investing in a broader mix of capabilities, combining AI and digital transformation knowledge with leadership, communication, safety and compliance expertise. OpenSesame expands AI safety training with OSHA Partnership. Published: August 18, 2026 OpenSesame partners with MIT Sloan & OSHA to advance ai-driven workplace safety training. AUSTIN, Texas - August 18, 2026 - OpenSesame, a leader in curated enterprise elearning and workforce development solutions, announced new strategic partnerships with MIT Sloan Management Review, Second City Works, and OSHA 10 Construction by Vector Solutions to expand its AI-powered learning library - a development that carries direct implications for the global AI worker safety market, projected to reach USD 27.11 billion by 2035 at a CAGR of 17.5%. The announcement signals a broader industry shift toward integrating AI-driven training platforms with recognized occupational safety frameworks, as enterprises accelerate investment in technology-enabled compliance and hazard prevention programs. Through its new partnership with OSHA 10 Construction by Vector Solutions, OpenSesame is expanding access to industry-recognized safety training designed to help employers reduce risk, support workforce readiness, and maintain compliance in evolving work environments. The company has simultaneously grown its learning library to more than 68,000 courses, including over 2,000 AI-related courses added in the past year alone. The addition of 65 courses from MIT Sloan Management Review - covering AI, digital transformation, and future leadership - and 150 courses from Second City Works, addressing ethics, compliance, and workplace effectiveness, reflects the growing enterprise demand for training that bridges AI strategy with human-centered safety practices. "AI is changing work faster than organizations can rewrite job descriptions," said Don Spear, Chief Executive Officer of OpenSesame. "We're seeing growing demand for learning that helps employees navigate technological change, strengthen leadership capabilities, and build the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving AI-driven workplace." Key highlights: * OSHA Partnership: OpenSesame's new collaboration with OSHA 10 Construction by Vector Solutions expands access to industry-recognized construction safety training, directly supporting employer compliance in high-risk work environments. * AI Learning Scale: The platform now hosts more than 68,000 courses, with over 2,000 AI-related courses added in the past 12 months, reflecting accelerating enterprise demand for AI-integrated safety and skills training. * Personalized AI Coaching: More than 20% of OpenSesame's courses can be customized by customers, with AI-powered coaching enabling workers to practice new skills in real time - a capability increasingly sought by EHS program managers. * Market Growth Context: The global AI worker safety market is forecast to expand from USD 6.35 billion in 2026 to USD 27.11 billion by 2035, with Generative AI emerging as the fastest-growing technology segment at a 29.3% CAGR. Analyst insight: According to analysts at Next Move Strategy Consulting, the OpenSesame announcement reflects a structural trend in which enterprise safety programs are consolidating AI-powered training, compliance management, and real-time coaching into unified platforms rather than deploying fragmented point solutions. NMSC analysts note that as regulatory enforcement intensifies - particularly under OSHA's heightened penalty framework, which raised maximum fines for willful or repeated violations to more than USD 165,000 per violation as of January 2025 - organizations are increasingly prioritizing vendors capable of delivering both AI-driven hazard detection and workforce upskilling within a single, scalable ecosystem. The convergence of AI learning platforms with recognized occupational safety credentials, as demonstrated by OpenSesame's OSHA partnership, is expected to compress enterprise adoption timelines across manufacturing, construction, and logistics sectors through 2035. Industry outlook: The OpenSesame partnership announcement underscores a pivotal transition in how organizations approach worker safety - moving from reactive, incident-based compliance toward proactive, AI-enabled prevention and continuous learning. As the AI worker safety market advances toward its projected USD 27.11 billion valuation by 2035, the integration of AI-powered training platforms with established regulatory frameworks such as OSHA's construction safety standards is expected to become a baseline procurement requirement for enterprise EHS programs. North America, which currently leads the market with approximately 40% revenue share, is positioned to sustain this momentum as insurance-linked safety incentives and regulatory enforcement pressure continue to drive technology adoption across industrial sectors.
