About the Company

Suzano

Global eucalyptus pulp and paper producer

Suzano is a global leader in the forest products industry, producing eucalyptus pulp and paper and packaging products. It operates by growing eucalyptus forests, sourcing wood, converting it into pulp and other sheets, and selling paper and packaging products worldwide. Its process emphasizes vertical integration from sustainable forest to finished products, enabling efficient, large-scale production of fibers and paper. Compared with competitors, Suzano stands out for its long history of pioneering eucalyptus-based production—becoming the first to run 100% eucalyptus pulp and paper at industrial scale in 1961—and for its scale after merging with Fibria to form the world’s largest eucalyptus pulp producer. The company’s goal is to lead in sustainable, bio-based solutions by expanding its forest-based production network, reducing environmental impact, and supplying packaging and paper products globally.
