Chervon names Daniel Abbott director of sales for Western U.S.

Chervon names Daniel Abbott director of sales for Western U.S. October 5, 2026 Chervon North America has appointed Daniel L. Abbott director of sales for the Western U.S., adding a power tools and outdoor power equipment veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience to its commercial leadership team. Abbott's appointment is effective October 5, 2026. He will report to Senior Vice President Matt DeFeo and focus on expanding Chervon's sales operations and key-account relationships across the western United States. Abbott joins Chervon after spending 24 years with TTI/Milwaukee, where he held increasingly senior sales leadership positions and built and managed a West Coast-based sales organization. In his final role, he led a team of more than 700 salespeople. His experience gives Chervon a sales executive with extensive knowledge of the power tool retail channel and the operational requirements of managing a large field organization. Abbott's background also includes store-level retail management, providing experience on both the manufacturer and retailer sides of the home improvement market. "Abbott is a proven and exceptional leader and mentor of high-potential sales talent," DeFeo said. "His obsessive focus on teaming up with key accounts at the store level has unleashed years of extraordinary growth in his areas of responsibility." Before joining TTI/Milwaukee, Abbott served as a Home Depot store manager in Huntington Beach, California. That experience gave him direct exposure to store operations, merchandising, customer demand and the execution required to translate national sales strategies into performance at individual retail locations. Abbott graduated from Long Beach State and subsequently served four years in the U.S. Air Force before beginning his career in the home improvement industry. At Chervon, Abbott will reunite professionally with DeFeo as the company works to expand brands including EGO, FLEX and SKIL across professional and consumer markets. "I feel highly fortunate to once again work with Matt DeFeo at this stage of Chervon's development," Abbott said. "It is clear to me Chervon has vast potential to grow with advanced technology and exciting new product development." The appointment comes as power tool and outdoor power equipment manufacturers continue developing broader lithium-ion product ecosystems. For manufacturers, commercial execution depends not only on new product development but also on distribution, retail availability, in-store positioning and field sales teams capable of supporting major accounts. Abbott's experience managing a large sales organization and working directly with retail accounts gives Chervon additional leadership capacity around those execution requirements in the Western U.S. Chervon North America is part of a global power tool and outdoor power equipment company with operations spanning research and development, manufacturing, testing, sales and after-sales service. Its brand portfolio includes EGO, which focuses heavily on battery-powered outdoor power equipment; FLEX and SKIL in power tools and related categories; and DEVON, serving additional global markets. The company sells products across industrial, professional and consumer segments. Chervon has positioned lithium-ion technology, connected products and product development as central components of its long-term strategy. Abbott's role will focus on the commercial side of that strategy, translating the company's product portfolio into stronger account relationships and sales execution across western markets. His appointment adds an executive with decades of category and field leadership experience as Chervon works to expand its presence in the competitive U.S. power tool and outdoor power equipment market.
