Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a sales/account management or a client facing role.
  • A client-centric attitude with a deep curiosity for clients, driven to deliver their expectations, understand their business goals and challenges, and provide relevant solutions through strategic account planning.
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying opportunities to improve the client relationship, cross-sell products, and grow customers through a consultative approach
  • A background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is preferred but not required.
  • Next-level attention to detail: enjoy combing through the metrics and details to identify opportunities to improve internally or better manage the client relationship.
  • A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.
Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with key business stakeholders that empower the client and deepen the relationship with Flexport.
  • Keep a pulse on account health and identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell to ensure client success is met.
  • Lead and actively participate in client onboarding and creating standard operating procedures. Scope and guide the implementation stages and timelines for new opportunities and clients.
  • Collaborate globally with counterparts in Asia, Europe and Latin America, to ensure a consistent account management experience.
  • Use your intensive knowledge of the client’s business to lead the preparation and presentation of quarterly strategy reviews with minimal guidance to ensure the value of Flexport is top of mind for their supply chain success criteria.
