Requirements
  • Relevant experience in computer-aided design drafting, millwork, cabinetry, woodworking engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, or similar software.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
  • Understanding of cabinet construction, materials, machining, or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
Responsibilities
  • Create and modify accurate 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design and engineering software.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure projects are accurate and ready for production.
  • Develop routing data, cut patterns, bills of material, and machine code.
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and production employees to resolve design and manufacturing questions.
  • Check drawings and production documents for accuracy before release.
  • Provide technical support when questions arise during manufacturing.
  • Help improve engineering processes to reduce errors, rework, and production time.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial cabinetry, architectural millwork, Microvellum, or computer numerical control programming.
  • Technical education or training.
