Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Oncology experience is required.
  • Experience as an oncology nurse navigator, or other relevant experience enabling significant intervention with patients affected by cancer or chronic diseases, is required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and clinical judgment abilities are required.
  • Autonomy, clinical leadership, and developed interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assess users’ physical and psychosocial health at the emergency department.
  • Provide meaningful clinical support to people with cancer or chronic diseases.
  • Act as a clinical resource, pivot nurse, or in a related role for patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the medical and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in developing and implementing care and service plans.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and complete required follow-ups.
