- A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
- Current membership in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec is required.
- Oncology experience is required.
- Experience as an oncology pivot nurse or other relevant related experience enabling significant intervention with patients affected by cancer or chronic illnesses is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and clinical judgment abilities are required.
- Autonomy, clinical leadership, and well-developed interpersonal skills are required.
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial health status in the emergency department.
- Provide meaningful clinical support to people with cancer or chronic illnesses.
- Act as a clinical resource, pivot nurse, or related resource for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the medical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in developing and applying care and service plans.
- Complete clinical documentation and required follow-ups.
