Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing school or collegiate program.
Hold a current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the State of North Dakota.
Have at least one year of nursing experience; this experience is preferred.
Have a strong understanding of substance use disorders and medication-assisted treatment.
Work in an interdisciplinary team setting.
Use therapeutic communication with patients and families.
Document proficiently in electronic health records.
Educate and train staff and patients on relevant health topics.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
Create, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Conduct and document urine, drug, and alcohol screenings.
Complete nursing assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records.
Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with outside providers.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations for medication management and patient information.
Provide on-call and weekend nursing coverage as assigned.
Description
Heartview Foundation is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders. Pay Range:
LPN: $27 - $32/ hour, depending on experience
RN: $32 - $38/ hour, depending on experience
Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and student loan repayment programs!
This is a full-time, 30-40 hours per week position, Monday through Friday, with on-call as needed. Shifts typically fall between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM; a flexible schedule and hours are available.
On-call pay is $400/week.
Responsibilities:
