Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Two years of experience with injection molding quality or production is required.
- Candidates must be computer literate, proficient in blueprint reading, and have basic math skills.
- Candidates must be knowledgeable about OSHA-related standards and follow safe work practices.
- Candidates must be able to lift or move materials up to 25 pounds routinely and 35–45 pounds occasionally.
- Candidates must be able to work the C shift from 11:15 p.m. to 7:45 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning, and work overtime, including weekends, when required.
- Candidates must demonstrate good time management, excellent attendance, high energy and motivation, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to work with diverse individuals.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret instructions, specifications, and blueprints for inspecting plastic molded parts.
- Use measuring equipment, including height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators, to check and inspect materials and production parts in process and finished form.
- Sort and inspect production parts as required.
- Perform in-process and final production audits.
- Assist in training operators on quality systems and expectations.
- Organize and maintain production inspection areas.
- Maintain responsibility for ISO procedures, reporting requirements, and work instructions related to the position, including computer usage as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Related technical coursework is preferred.
