Requirements
  • Recent and relevant experience in respiratory therapy.
  • NRP training.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • For the Blanc-Sablon assignment, bilingual French-English proficiency is mandatory.
  • For the Blanc-Sablon assignment, knowledge of the Roxon BodyBox for pulmonary function testing is required.
  • For the Havre-Saint-Pierre assignment, experience with home care and general care is required.
  • For the Havre-Saint-Pierre assignment, a driver's license and vehicle are required.
  • Administrative documentation includes a complete CV detailing experience duration by sector, diplomas, identification, a recent criminal record extract, professional order permit, CPR certification, and availability by dates, shifts, and duration.
Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services at one of the listed locations.
  • Work assigned day, evening, or night shifts and weekend shifts as required; on-call duty applies at Blanc-Sablon and Havre-Saint-Pierre.
  • Complete orientation lasting 2 days in Baie-Comeau, 2 to 3 days in Blanc-Sablon, or 5 days in Havre-Saint-Pierre.
Desired Qualifications
  • For the Havre-Saint-Pierre assignment, experience with sleep screening and pulmonary function testing is an asset.
