Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Three to seven years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning or materials requirements planning systems; INFOR experience is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning.
  • A track record of growth and increasing responsibility, with potential to take on broader leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on order priorities, material readiness, and work center capacity.
  • Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to align schedules with available resources.
  • Review customer orders, validate ship dates, and ensure alignment with published lead times.
  • Manage schedule adjustments for expedited orders, delays, or material shortages, and proactively communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Use enterprise resource planning tools to plan, monitor, and adjust manufacturing activities.
  • Analyze resource and material availability to identify bottlenecks and constraints.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Materials Planning to ensure timely material flow to production lines.
  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings to synchronize schedules with purchasing, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scheduling accuracy, reduce lead times, and improve throughput.
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kanban, visual management, and standardized work.
  • Support adoption of best practices for enterprise resource planning utilization and production reporting.
  • Serve as the communication link between production, planning, materials, and customer service teams.
  • Escalate capacity or delivery risks promptly to the Production Planning Manager.
  • Support coordination of schedule changes due to design modifications or supply delays.
