About the Job

Requirements

  • Training in fashion pattern making or industrial pattern making, such as BTS, DMA, ESMOD, AICP, or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role in a luxury fashion house or high-end ready-to-wear company.
  • Experience with one or more product categories, such as draping, tailoring, knitwear, or leather goods.
  • Proficiency in manual pattern making.
  • Good knowledge of materials, garment assembly techniques, and grading.

Responsibilities

  • Develop patterns by hand and/or using computer-aided design software.
  • Develop patterns based on approved prototypes.
  • Grade patterns according to the Maison's size standards and verify size consistency.
  • Write and update technical files covering measurements, assembly, and tolerances.
  • Propose assembly solutions suited to the behavior of the materials.
  • Follow up on corrections after fittings and production feedback.
  • Check the conformity of production and pre-production samples.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer-aided design software is a plus.
