Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program and currently licensed in the State of Washington.
  • Hold a current Basic Life Support card for Healthcare Provider, with required maintenance.
  • Have previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records system.
Responsibilities
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs.
  • Assist with medical procedures.
  • Administer injections and medications within the Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Verify and update patient medical records for completeness.
  • Refill medications.
  • Notify patients of test results.
  • Perform other assigned duties within the Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Float to support other clinics as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certified Wound Care Associate certification.
  • Certificate Program in Pediatrics from the American Association of Medical Assistants.
  • Certificate Program in Geriatrics from the American Association of Medical Assistants.
