Manager, Sales Development Representative
Job Summary:
This is a critical position that requires a competent and effective sales leader to manage, coach, and support up to ten Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). In this role you will have the opportunity to build from the ground up. Your success is reflected by your team’s success: this is defined by output, culture, and atmosphere.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage the inside sales development representative team that solely focuses on outbound prospecting
- Set and report sales targets/metrics for your team
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Build an open-communication environment for your team
- Hire, train and coach employees to develop their selling skills
- Train the team to prospect new accounts in order to accomplish goals and to efficiently capture team activity in database

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000 excluding commission, depending on location.
Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The following states are approved as remote work locations for this position: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA
All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time.
What You’ll Do:
- Become a Resi expert through our detailed training so you can be the best brand ambassador and trainer to your team
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to schedule targeted number of appointments for sales team (go above and beyond quota)
- Perform hands-on prospecting activities to determine best practices and educate SDR team
- Optimize call scripts, email pitches, and other outreach to improve leads generated
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to help SDR achieve individual goals
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
- Implement improvements in the sales process
- Develop meaningful metrics and reports to measure productivity and quota attainment
- Ensures that department milestones/goals are met or exceeded
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools to achieve and exceed goals
- Help administer new lead-generation projects
- Meet regularly for one-on-ones with leadership
What You’ll Bring:
- Is competitive, self motivated, and resourceful
- Understands the value of training his/her team and using metrics to help his/her team improve
- Is comfortable talking to strangers and is an expert making first contact and building valuable relationships
- Wants to build a team and is eager to produce results
- Experience with a CRM and email automation tools are required (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience coaching, mentoring, role playing, and data analysis required
- Good, positive attitude is also a must!
- Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required
Education and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience as an SDR leader or in another prospecting-related position.
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred
