Requirements
  • 8–10+ years of federal business development or sales with a focus on Homeland Security or civilian agencies.
  • Strong relationships across major civilian agencies.
  • Demonstrated success winning $5M+ TCV federal contracts.
  • Experience with RFP/RFI capture, proposal writing, and teaming strategies.
  • Understanding of civilian procurement vehicles (IDIQs, BPAs, OTAs).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Salesforce certifications or advanced degree a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Own pipeline and bookings targets for Homeland Security and Civilian agencies.
  • Build trusted executive relationships with senior civilian leaders and decision makers.
  • Drive capture strategy, teaming, and proposal execution for major Civilian opportunities.
  • Lead or contribute directly to proposal writing, ensuring submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned to mission needs.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Public Sector and AWS sellers to co-sell and co-deliver solutions.
  • Work with Thunder’s pre-sales/demo team to shape mission-aligned solutions and accelerators.
  • Partner with Thunder’s delivery teams to ensure program success and client satisfaction.
  • Represent Thunder at Homeland Security and Civilian federal forums, industry events, and customer engagements.
  • Capture customer feedback and mission priorities to inform Thunder’s federal offerings.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including points of view and white papers, that resonate with Homeland Security and Civilian missions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Salesforce or SaaS/cloud ecosystem experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance preferred.
