Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or at minimum an Associate's degree in Construction Management, a related field, or equivalent field experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of design and construction, including safety standards.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and written and verbal interaction skills.
  • Ability to use computers and similar technology, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and P6.
  • Ability to learn industry-specific software applications for estimating, project management, and project controls.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks involving bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and crawling.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel significant distances during the workday.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendent with efforts required to manage construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client quality standards.
  • Perform construction administration tasks, including coordinating, receiving, reviewing, and distributing project information and authorizations.
  • Promote and maintain a safe project site and monitor and enforce the Buch Safety Program in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide operational support during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Coordinate, review, and track submittals and requests for information to maintain project schedules.
  • Incorporate submittal and request-for-information responses and drawing revisions into construction documents to maintain a complete and current document set.
  • Prepare closeout documents, including as-built record drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
  • Assist with environmentally responsible and sustainable construction.
