- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain J-STD and IPC certification within 90 days.
- Ability to obtain IPC 7711/7721.
- Perform removal and replacement of BGA and bottom termination components.
- Rework and repair pads, traces, and barrels; SMT and through-hole components; masks, bonding, and conformal coat; and other repairs, often under a microscope or over a hot plate.
- Perform modifications under the direction of a manufacturing engineer.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, training, and other workplace programs.
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure benches, tools, and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and highly organized work area and perform other assigned duties.
- Provide rework and repair soldering support in a timely manner, repair components on printed circuit boards to specification, inspect own work to ensure conformance to company quality standards, and steward company assets.
- Three or more years of experience with electronic components.
- IPC certification.
- Experience soldering lead-free components.
