  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production and logistics processes
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), manufacturing ERPs, and other plant-related technologies.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations within manufacturing or plant environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall Plant IT strategy in alignment with the organization's business goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Plant IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure within plant facilities.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of plant IT systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with plant operations and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in IT service delivery to meet the needs of plant operations.
  • Lead IT projects related to plant expansions, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting specified quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure plant IT systems comply with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard plant IT assets and data.
  • Develop, and mentor a high-performing Plant IT team.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.
