Requirements
  • Ability to use measuring instruments.
  • Ability to understand work instructions.
  • Ability to handle hoists.
  • A secondary-school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Six to twelve months of relevant experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain continuous production while minimizing downtime.
  • Verify that all conveyors are valid and operational.
  • Coordinate daily activities with the supervisor or team leader and other team members.
  • Inspect the quality of parts on all conveyors and report nonconforming products to the team leader.
  • Check and maintain all slurry pots at the correct slurry height.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions to the team leader.
  • Use product criteria and work instructions to guide tasks.
  • Check work tools daily, including clips, fiber cord, and scrapers, and report shortages to the team leader.
  • Work with the supervisor and colleagues to eliminate non-value-added operations.
  • Eliminate waste caused by the process, material handling, and unnecessary movement.
  • Recommend possible solutions when problems arise.
  • Maintain good housekeeping by keeping items organized and in their designated places.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow company values and code of ethics.
  • Follow company environmental, health, and safety programs.
