Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • At least two years of work experience is required.
  • At least one year of Java development experience is required.
  • The candidate must be interested in and comfortable with backend development using Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with a backend framework such as Spring Boot or Node.js is highly desired.
  • Experience with RESTful web services is highly desired.
  • A fundamental understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL is required.
  • Experience with Agile development is highly desired.
  • Experience with React, React Native, and HTML is highly desired.
  • Experience with native mobile application development for Android or iOS is highly desired.
  • A good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile development methodology is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and time-management skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop backend applications using Java and JavaScript in a Linux environment.
  • Develop and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Work as part of a team on software development activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master of Science degree is preferred.
