Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or in-house legal support, including independently owning recurring workstreams.
  • Prior exposure to SOX or corporate governance processes is preferred as a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management systems, e-signature platforms, or procurement systems beyond the learning-the-basics stage.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and comfort driving cross-functional conversations with Finance, Marketing, IT, and Engineering.
  • Comfort using artificial intelligence tools as part of daily workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Own Grove's day-to-day contract lifecycle process end-to-end, including intake via Tropic, triage, routing for review, execution, and archiving in Juro.
  • Administer Adobe Acrobat Sign and Google Workspace eSignature, including troubleshooting user issues as Grove transitions off DocuSign.
  • Manage Legal's vendor relationships directly by running regular check-ins and tracking renewal timelines, escalating judgment-based decisions to counsel.
  • Own SOX process documentation within Legal and cross-functionally by gathering and organizing audit evidence with Finance and Internal Audit.
  • Maintain the corporate calendar, including board meetings and regulatory filing deadlines; track state registrations; and file completed board minutes.
  • Coordinate responses to data requests, subpoenas, or document productions under counsel's direction on strategy.
  • Monitor adherence to Legal policies and procedures company-wide and proactively flag gaps.
  • Run Legal's filing systems, including naming conventions, document retention, and legal hold processes.
  • Own legal billing review by tracking outside counsel invoices against billing guidelines and flagging anomalies for review.
  • Manage Grove's corporate insurance portfolio, including renewals, purchases, and claims.

Grove Collaborative posts Q1 revenue of $36.2M, returns to positive EBITDA after platform issues

Management said repeat order rates amongst recent customer cohorts have recovered to pre-migration levels, signalling improving customer experience.
