Requirements
  • Be in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Have at least one year of operating-room experience.
  • Be able to work evening, night, weekend, and statutory-holiday shifts and on-call duties.
  • Have proficiency in French.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and ensure their safety before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team and anesthesiologists to ensure procedures run smoothly.
  • Provide specialized care in day surgery, recovery room, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in endoscopy, cesarean, gynecology, general surgery, and otolaryngology activities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of care and interventions.
  • Participate in teaching and maintaining clinical best practices.
