Andrew Morgan LLC (AM) is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone SB. We are seeking four qualified Accountants at varying experience levels to join our team supporting our Department of Defense (DoD) Client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountant Level I
- Support financial management, audit readiness, and remediation activities
- Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation
- Support PBCs, walkthroughs, and audit requests
- Maintain supporting documentation and audit evidence repositories
- Assist in control execution and testing activities
- Knowledge of:
- Basic accounting principles
- Financial reporting processes
Accountant Level II
- Execute audit remediation, financial reporting, and internal control activities
- Perform reconciliations across GL, feeder systems, and sub-ledgers
- Support FSCR, P2P (AP/Obs), Asset Reporting, and A-123 control activities
- Develop and review assertion packages, CAPs, and audit documentation
- Support audit liaison activities and auditor engagement
- Contribute to financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge of:
- GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR
- SFFAS / FASAB
- OMB A-123, A-127, A-136
- Federal financial systems and audit frameworks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- DoD / Air Force FIAR experience
- Experience with FSCR, P2P, Asset Reporting
- Experience interacting with auditors (IPA, GAO, DoDIG)
- Certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM)
SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
