- At least 1 year of recent intensive care unit experience is required.
- An active North Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license is required.
- Registered Nurses are required to obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
- Provide staff Registered Nurse care for 72 hours per pay period over a 12-week temporary assignment.
- Manage patients in an 18-bed acuity-adaptable cardiothoracic and vascular unit.
- Manage patients undergoing open-heart surgery from admission through discharge.
- Perform patient assessment and manage intravenous drip titrations, chest tubes, ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and Impella devices.
