About the job
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
- At least 3 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant is required.
- At least 3 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining core SAP platforms, including ERP, NetWeaver, Portal, and Solution Manager, is required.
- At least 3 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining bolt-on functionality such as Adobe Document Services, Text Retrieval and Information Extraction, SAP Web Dispatcher, Document Management System or SAP Content Manager, and Internet Information Services or Apache is required.
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, and transport management is required.
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing system and database performance, conducting system health checks, and implementing tuning improvements is required.
- Experience on at least one full-lifecycle SAP project or implementation is required.
- Knowledge of Windows and VMware setup and administration is required.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently, manage timelines and user expectations, and produce documentation, presentations, research, and other high-quality deliverables.
- A proven track record in customer management and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Experience implementing a non-SAP content management system, such as OpenText Extended Enterprise Content Management or Microsoft SharePoint, integrated with SAP is highly advantageous.
