Harvey partners with Datasite to bring live deal data into ai-powered deal workflows. Jun 09, 2026, 14:17 ET SAN FRANCISCO, June 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Harvey today announced an integration with Datasite, a provider of AI-powered solutions that enable private market investment, including virtual data rooms for mergers and acquisitions. The integration provides legal and professional services teams secure access to transaction data directly within Harvey's AI-powered workflows. Mergers and acquisitions generate vast amounts of information across teams, advisors, and stakeholders. Legal professionals must quickly review documents, answer diligence questions, identify risks, and draft work under tight timelines and shifting conditions. Yet much of this work remains fragmented across systems, forcing teams to piece together context before they can act. By connecting Datasite with Harvey, deal teams can bring in approved transaction materials directly within Harvey's Assistant, Vault, Workflow Builder, and Word Add-In. Through the integration, Datasite permissions automatically carry into Harvey, so only documents for which a user is permissioned can be pulled into the Harvey platform, resulting in a smoother and more efficient workflow, keeping transactions moving forward. "The most successful deal teams are the ones that can quickly turn information into action," said Winston Weinberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Harvey. "By connecting documents in Datasite's data rooms with Harvey's AI-powered workflows, we're helping lawyers and advisors move faster through diligence, drafting, and execution while staying grounded in the trusted information that drives every deal." "AI belongs where deal work lives," said Rusty Wiley, President & CEO of Datasite. "By giving teams secure, direct access to Datasite content within Harvey, we're helping them uncover insights faster and make better-informed decisions throughout the deal lifecycle." The partnership builds on Harvey's recently announced Connector Library, which helps legal professionals access documents, data, and institutional knowledge from the systems they rely on every day directly within Harvey workflows. About Harvey Harvey is the operating system for legal and professional services. Datasite acquires Valu8 to enhance AI-driven deal sourcing and execution, expanding its market intelligence capabilities across Europe.
Datasite, a provider of AI-powered solutions for private market investment, has acquired Valu8, a Swedish private market intelligence platform specialising in European company financial data. The acquisition will integrate Valu8 into Grata, Datasite's private market intelligence business. Valu8 provides data and insights on 70 million European companies and serves over 600 customers, primarily private equity firms, investment banks and corporate M&A teams. The platform complements Grata's existing coverage of more than 20 million companies globally. The deal follows Grata's expansion into the UK, France, Germany and Australia in July 2025, and its acquisition of Sourcescrub in August 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed. Datasite was advised by Bank of America and Jefferies, whilst Valu8 was advised by DNB Carnegie.
Datasite introduces MCP server to securely integrate AI assistants with deal workflows. Datasite has launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which allows for the easy integration of their Virtual Data Room (VDR) with AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Blueflame AI. This is an important step by Datasite since it's the first VDR service provider to use Model Context Protocol server. This solves the issue of exportation of documents in the past that was needed for AI assistants' use. Powered by its recently acquired Blueflame AI, the MCP server allows AI tools to access and analyze live deal content within the VDR while strictly enforcing permission controls and audit logging. "Deal teams shouldn't have to choose between AI and governance," said Rusty Wiley, President and CEO of Datasite. "With our MCP server and embedded Blueflame AI, we're redefining how deal teams operate, not by asking them to change where they work, but by connecting AI to where their work already lives." The solution enables teams to create and manage data rooms, summarize documents, compare versions, and accelerate due diligence workflows directly within their AI environments. "Governance and auditability don't disappear just because the interface is an AI assistant," said Doug Cullen, Chief Strategy Officer at Datasite. "This is about making Datasite the system of record for every AI interaction with deal content."
