Requirements
  • A New York State Registered Nurse license.
  • Strong knowledge of Certified Home Health Agency regulations, including federal, state, and Department of Health requirements.
  • Understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation for home health, including documentation, visit frequency, and billing requirements.
  • Experience conducting clinical record reviews for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with Outcome and Assessment Information Set data collection and its impact on quality reporting and reimbursement.
  • Ability to analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Prior involvement in survey readiness, audits, or responses to regulatory bodies such as the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or Department of Health.
  • Ability to collaborate across clinical, administrative, and operational teams to improve patient outcomes and compliance.
  • Proficiency using Electronic Medical Record systems such as HCHB or similar platforms.
