ProSidian Seeks a Consulting Engineer | Development and Implementation [GMU0011010] for Information Technology on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent located CONUS - Fairfax VA Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting strategic delivery of Government and Public Services Sector Human Capital Solutions through Temporary Help Services and Recruiting/Staff Augmentation capabilities for the City of Charlotte (COC).

Seeking Consulting Engineer candidates with relevant Education, And Academia Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Education, And Academia Sector Clients such as GMU.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Development and Implementation Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - IT Consulting and Staff Augmentation Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Consulting Engineer [IT Consulting and Staff Augmentation Services] in the Education, And Academia Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as George Mason University (GMU) | George Mason University | Information Technology Services (ITS) Generally Located In CONUS - Fairfax VA and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

Design, build, and deliver—transforming ideas into scalable IT solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Consulting Engineer | Development and Implementation [GMU0011010]

• Design, configure, and support infrastructure and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and integrations.
• Work with platforms like M365, Splunk, and VMware.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Consulting Engineer | Development and Implementation [GMU0011010] (GMU0011010) Candidates:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.`

Skills Required

• Technical depth, analytical thinking, reliability.
