About the job
- A thorough understanding of object-oriented design.
- Strong Java programming experience.
- Experience with or exposure to a design tool.
- Extensive experience with Dojo, XML/XSL, DHTML, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, AWS, advanced JavaScript, REST services, JSP, and Java.
- Experience writing single-page web applications with JavaScript or jQuery, writing Dojo widgets and reusable components, or developing Node.js solutions or npm packages.
- Working knowledge of PhoneGap or Cordova with a JavaScript and HTML5 focus.
- Understanding of HTML5 for mobile, including offline cache and local storage.
- AWS CloudFormation skills.
- Familiarity with AWS S3, including using S3 as a website, and CloudFront.
- Exposure to build scripts based on Amazon S3 and Ant.
- Experience with Apache CXF, Camel, and testing frameworks such as JUnit and SoapUI.
- Implement web services, preferably as a service provider rather than only consuming web services.
- Develop client-side logic, single-page web applications, Dojo widgets, reusable components, or Node.js solutions as applicable.
- Develop mobile experiences using PhoneGap or Cordova and HTML5.
- Work with AWS services, including CloudFormation, S3, and CloudFront.
- Create or use Dojo minified builds.
- Experience with web service implementation, particularly service-provider experience.
- Familiarity with AWS S3 as a website and with CloudFront.
