Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred
  • Other HR certifications (SHRM, PHR) is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Lead annual compensation cycle, covering performance-based pay, bonuses, and merit reviews
  • Influence a consistent compensation philosophy in line with our organizational culture and objectives
  • Ensure compensation and performance management programs remain competitive and align with compensation strategy
  • Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies
  • Assess jobs and respective duties to determine the appropriate salary range, as well as maintain job classifications and salary scales
  • Recommend merit increases based on salary surveys and other benchmarking data
  • Lead and analyze relative market compensation surveys for all positions
  • Contribute to the planning, research, and execution of new benefits-related projects
  • Prepares compensation and benefits reports, analyzing trends and making data-driven recommendations
  • Administer and manage the organization’s 401(k) and pension plans, ensuring accurate and timely processing of enrollments, contributions, distributions, and compliance reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding retirement benefits, providing guidance, education, and support to help them maximize their plans
  • Partner with plan providers, trustees, and vendors to oversee plan operations, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements
  • Monitor plan performance and fees, assisting with plan audits and contributing to vendor evaluations and renewals
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and other regulatory requirements related to retirement plans
  • Prepare and maintain plan documentation, communications, and required filings (e.g., Form 5500)
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to reconcile contributions, review payroll feeds, and ensure accurate data integration across systems
  • Ongoing monitoring of legislative changes in compensation and benefits practices, taxes withheld, and deduction to the funds
  • Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job

IBM unveils AI-powered Masters Vault Search and enhanced Hole Insights for 90th Masters Tournament

IBM and the Masters Tournament have announced new AI-powered digital features for the 90th Masters Tournament, running 9-12 April at Augusta National Golf Club. The enhancements mark the latest development in a 30-year collaboration between the two organisations. Masters Vault Search, powered by IBM's Granite small language models and watsonx Orchestrate, enables fans to explore over 50 years of final round broadcasts through conversational prompts. The system uses optical character recognition, speech-to-text transcription and scene detection to locate specific moments within full-length replays. The enhanced Hole Insights feature now provides real-time, shot-by-shot analysis during the Tournament, calculating historical scoring probabilities based on exact ball position and contextual performance data. The feature was developed with input from legendary caddie Jim 'Bones' Mackay.
