  • MBO+ or HBO work-and-thinking level is required.
  • A completed education in a technical direction is required.
  • A valid VCA-VOL certificate is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in traffic, infrastructure, or civil engineering is required.
  • Experience with traffic measures, traffic monitoring, and traffic management is required.
  • Affinity with complex infrastructure projects is required.
  • The candidate must be able to analyze information, maintain oversight in a dynamic environment, and connect the interests of different stakeholders.
  • The candidate must be willing to take responsibility, think ahead, remain calm when circumstances change, communicate effectively, and persuade and connect different parties.
  • The candidate must take initiative, maintain oversight, focus on results, and consider stakeholder interests in their decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, coordinate, and monitor traffic measures and traffic flows throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure work can be carried out safely while maintaining accessibility and traffic flow as much as possible.
  • Prepare and manage traffic-flow plans.
  • Prepare and maintain the slot schedule.
  • Coordinate traffic measures with internal and external parties.
  • Align traffic-measure drawings with the traffic-measures designer.
  • Ensure efficient deployment of traffic measures and traffic-engineering subcontractors.
  • Monitor traffic flows during large-scale weekend phasing and service outages.
  • Adjust and instruct traffic partners when circumstances require it.
  • Provide traffic-engineering input for integrated schedules, logistics plans, and operational plans.
  • Safeguard traffic safety, accessibility, and traffic flow within contractual frameworks.
  • Maintain contact with clients, road authorities, emergency services, public-transport concession holders, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute actively to the preparation and execution of complex traffic phasing.
