Responsibilities
Practice endocrinology in Morgantown, West Virginia and/or Southpointe, Pennsylvania.
Provide excellent patient care.
Actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Conduct telemedicine for inpatient coverage at Uniontown Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital, and/or other locations.
Desired Qualifications
Participation in clinical and translational research.
For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, sustaining an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Southpointe, PA, and conduct telemedicine for inpatient coverage at Uniontown Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital and/or other locations.
The successful candidate will practice in the area of Endocrinology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, it is expected that the candidate sustains an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.
Qualifications: applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in internal medicine. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and an endocrinology fellowship program by the time of appointment.
