Requirements
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license, at least three years of licensed driving experience, and a clean driving record are required.
  • Applicants must be able to safely operate a large box-style or specialty vehicle; no commercial driver's license is required.
  • Applicants must maintain active personal automobile insurance meeting or exceeding state minimum requirements.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a motor vehicle record and background check.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required for travel to and from truck departure locations.
  • At least six months of experience delegating or coordinating tasks for two or more employees is required.
  • At least six months of related service-industry experience is required.
  • Applicants must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills are required.
  • Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for full shifts.
  • Applicants must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
  • Applicants must be available for at least three shifts per week, totaling at least 15 hours.
  • Open and flexible availability is required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and scheduled truck events.
  • Availability must include the specified daytime or closing shifts across weekdays and weekends.
  • Truck Leads must maintain active availability for scheduled shifts inside Sweet Cow shops; this is not a truck-only position.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the MooMobile mobile ice cream truck and deliver high-quality event experiences.
  • Serve guests efficiently and provide positive, engaging customer experiences at truck events and in shops.
  • Maintain truck cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and operational standards.
  • Lead MooMobile shifts by coaching, supporting, and inspiring the team.
  • Contribute as a reliable team member during in-shop shifts.
  • Oversee transactions, point-of-sale operations, and cash handling.
  • Create a fun and memorable experience for customers and crew.
  • Solve real-time issues and communicate proactively with the team about operational and mechanical needs.
  • Open and close the truck and take responsibility for key daily operations.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture in the truck, at events, and in the shop.
  • Use established systems, tools, and procedures to uphold standards.
  • Execute and delegate tasks based on customer flow and required action items.
  • Ensure effective execution of daily truck and shop operations.
  • Communicate schedules and availability proactively.
  • Coach and engage the team with clarity and kindness.
